I am a tutor who excels in science and math. I am available to help students with algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, trigonometry, physics, physical science, and a variety of other subjects. I'm also experienced taking standardized tests and I would love to work with students on test prep. I received my degree in Physics with minors in Philosophy and Mathematics from Swarthmore College, where I graduated with high honors. After graduating I went on to become a trail caretaker on the Appalachian Trail. I plan on pursuing my Ph.D. in Physics and I hope to eventually become a university professor. I've worked with students at the high school and college level, and at Swarthmore I worked as a teaching assistant. I was also a writer for my college's science magazine. I bring my years of experience working with students and studying in an academic institution to my tutoring. I know how difficult standardized exams can be - I've been in that place myself - and I want to share what I've learned along the way with my students. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love to go camping and hiking, and I like to swing dance.
