I have been a college teacher in China for about 8 years and a Mandarin teacher at a Chinese school in Boston for 8 years. I hold a certification in PUTONGHUA proficiency test. I love teaching, and I commit to bring out students’ passion for learning Chinese. My creative way of teaching, strong sense of responsibility, and patience with students made me the Outstanding Teacher in the summer of 2010. Outside of the Chinese school, I have private-tutored at least 20 students, ranging from age 5 to 80 from different culture backgrounds. I'm now available to tutor in the following subjects: Mandarin Chinese(Both adults and children are suitable), AP Chinese, SAT II Chinese, HSK, YCT Preparation Class and so on. I am also good at calligraphy, and maybe we can learn Chinese by learning calligraphy. Availability & Location I am currently based in Belmont, MA, and I am happy to provide in-home tutoring for students in Belmont and neighboring towns. I have a valid driver’s license and can travel to nearby areas. For students who live farther away, I offer online tutoring sessions via Zoom or other preferred platforms. My schedule is highly flexible — I am available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, making it easy to accommodate different time zones and family routines.
